Pet Vaccination Policy
In order to protect our patients, our staff, and the general population from spread of contagious diseases, we are requiring vaccinations for all pets in our hospital.
We will need proof of vaccinations if they have been given elsewhere, or we will update your pets’ basic core vaccinations while they are in our hospital. It will be the responsibility of the pet parent to bring the proof of vaccinations with them as we do not have the staff time to call and verify with other locations.
If our veterinarians feel that your pet is not healthy enough to receive vaccines, they will not be given. This will be at the sole discretion of the veterinarian.
We Are a Telemedicine Practice
Due to the nationwide staffing shortage that has affected our industry and the overwhelming demand for patient visits we are practicing telemedicine. We have found this to be a much more efficient way to provide patient care, offer more appointment availability, and keep the costs to our clients down.
You are welcome to wait in our lobby while your pet is examined by the veterinarian in our treatment area. The veterinarian will call the number you provide to discuss the exam findings and treatment plan from their desk where they have access to your pet's electronic medical record. Please do not leave until you have spoken with the veterinarian to approve the plan. If we have to hold your pet because you have left the premises, there will be a kennel fee.
We appreciate your kindness, understanding, and cooperation as we strive to provide exceptional veterinary care to our patients.
